Whats Inside The New Playstation 3 Slim
Playstation have just released there latest version of the PS3 games console. This is called the Playstation 3 Slim, and as you can guess by the name of it, the new Playstation 3 is much smaller than the previous model. In fact, its is 2/3rds the size. The internal design of the new PS3 Slim system, from the main semiconductors and power supply unit, to the cooling mechanism, has been completely redesigned. Compared to the very first PS3 model with 60GB HDD, the internal volume as well as its thickness and weight are trimmed down to approximately two-thirds. Furthermore, power consumption is also cut to two-thirds, helping to reduce fan noise which comes from the console. Below, is a list of some of the cool features of the new PS3 Slim games console.
Blu-Ray Movies In HD:
The PS3 Slim sports a fully featured Blu-Ray disc player so that movies and games can be enjoyed at full Hi-Def resolution via the on-board HDMI port.
More Interactivity & Usability:
The new PlayStation Operating System (V 3.0), included in the package, gives you even more interactive and user-friendly features, making the console much more than ‘just’ a gaming machine.
Content and services will be available, too, through the ever-growing PlayStation Network. With the PS3 Slims spacious 120GB, you’ll have plenty of room to download your choice of game titles, trailers, demos, movies and TV shows from over 30,000 currently available.
A New Better Looking Console
With its irresistibly sleek and curvy case, the PS3 Slim is a good-looking creature indeed.It is designed to be placed in a horizontal position, but a stand (available separately) enables the PS3 to be mounted vertically to suit you or your gaming space better.

The PS3 Slim is a powerful new design that uses less power in the process! In this mean machine, power consumption is reduced by a third, making it kinder on your electricity bill and on the environment. And you’ll notice the added benefit of reduced fan noise.

Sony came with Playstation and after about five years they made a slim version called Ps-one they did same with Ps2 and now there is a slim PS3 in the pipeline . Remember consoles are not cell phones and we don’t carry them in our pockets . Original models look mature and beautiful where slim model look cheep , childish and toy look . I agree PSP slim is better than original PSP but it is a portable console . Can you share you thought about it .
