Nintendo Lite Console System
3 Classic Nes Games You Can Play Right On Your Nintendo 3DS Console
If You Have An R4 DS Card For Your Nintendo DSi - Then These 2 NES Games Are A Must See!
Emulation is good. No, it's great. Having the opportunity to play a lot of the old classic games from consoles of yesterday with the help of some software is really something. Being able to get a chance to not only know, but to also play some of the first games every released, like for example, Mario on the NES, gives you a whole new appreciation for how far the game and the series have come.
With the help of DS Flash cards like the Nintendo R4 for the Nintendo DS and DSi, or the 3DS R4 Gold card for the new Nintendo 3DS system, enable your brand new hand held system to emulate the Nintendo Entertainment System (and many others) and actually play those games, right in your hands. These games, naturally, are not the most complex when it comes to graphics, but what they don't have in graphics they make up for with amazing gameplay that is second to none.
Many of the games we play today, started out in one form or another, on the NES console. Often these older games were developed, made and published by the same companies that brought out newer versions, except they were working with now antique hardware and still managed to make the games fun. So for those of you who may have just entered into the classic gaming world, here are a couple of NES games I suggest you try right away.
1. Bionic Commando
{Bionic Commando was a jump and run scrolling platform game. While many platform games of the day only scrolled from left to right, Bionic Commando actually had you using your grappling hooks to jump up onto platforms, and move up on the screen as well. Not to mention that the game was actually pretty hard - especially as you were getting to the end of a level. The full screen all direction scrolling is the feature that made this game unique - and totally playable. Just how popular was the game? Popular enough to have remakes made for both the PS3 and the Xbox 360, with more to follow I am sure.

1. Bubble Bobble
This was the game that starred Bub And Bob - familiar characters now in games like Puzzle Bobble, and Bubble Pop. But this was where it all started. Unlike the new variations of Puzzle Bobble, in this game you were either single player, or in a team. And instead of having to match up bubbles with 3 of the same color to get them to explode, you had to blow bubbles and pop them with the bad guys inside to be able to collect all the fruits for points. The game was loads and loads of fun, and got pretty hard as you moved through the levels. But it was especially fun when you were playing with a friend. What a lot of people like about Bubble Bobble was that it was a game that you could pick up and play, quick and easy to get into. And you could save your game, and come back to whatever level you left off at previously. It's also been remade on various other systems, obviously because the game is a lot of fun to play.

1. R-Type
Most would say R-Type is the best - and most difficult shootem up game ever made. It's the classic side scrolling shoot em up game - with all the elements that make shoot em up games so good - not to mention it was converted for virtually every system out there. And for good reason. This game was as hard as it was fun - and everyone wanted to be able to play it on their home systems. As I had said many times, R-Type wad HARD - really hard, and that's why being able to play it at home ended up saving you a lot of money - and endless continues too! Just a lot of fun - and frustration too!}
Gyruss was very popular in the arcades. A huge successful game that while was a standard shoot em up style game, it was different. There's so much to be said about this game - and much of it has been said already. Much like R-type, this game goes down in my game history books. It was a classic shoot em up, but with a twist. It had a 3D feel to it that no other game had before. Enemies would come out from the side of the screen and any you didn't kill would be sent further away from your main ship, only to come back and try to shoot you down. Your mission in the game? To go and protect every single planet in our galaxy. While the game was straightforward to play - trying to explain it in writing is a tad difficult. You should try this game and experience it for yourself to really get a feel for just how good it was - and is.

2. Ghostbusters 2
Ghostbusters for the NES was a great game, lots of fun to play. And in 1990 the sequel was released for the NES console, and thank god it was. Much like in the original Ghostbusters, you had your team, and you had to respond to calls to exterminate ghosts. The premise was the same, but better gameplay meant it was a lot more fun. It was a mix between platform and puzzle game. What you noticed right away were the improved graphics. The first game had decent graphics, considering when it was released - but there was a big improvement in this sequel. What more can I really say about this game. Practically every knows The Ghostbusters - young and old. And Ghostbusters 2 for the NES gives you a chance to get your game on as the original ghost hunters.}
At the start of this article I had said that you can play these games on your Nintendo DS, DSi and even the new Nintendo 3DS systems, and you may be wondering how that could be. All you need is your hand held system of choice of course. The DS lite, DSi or Nintendo 3DS and either an R4 DS Card or 3DS R4 Card for the 3DS system. All of the games look as good, and in my opinion, even better than they did on the TV screens of yesterday. The graphics seem a lot more crisp to me to be honest.

Frequently Asked Questions...
Can Nintendo DS download old games for nes, snes, sega, and other alike Wii?
I have Nintendo DS Lite I think I can download old games on Nintendo DS that have network. Nintendo Wii has download old games from Nintendo company but I don't see Nintendo DS download and Wii system console is really expensive. I want Nintendo DS can download old games if you know, how?
Answer:
There are download stations (at least in Japan) that allow people to download DS game demos onto their DSes, and before long, the Wii will have a channel that will let it serve as such a download station. So it would be possible, particularly since ROMs for NES, SNES, TG16, and Genesis are relatively small, but it would require Nintendo to write new emulators for the DS to play these games on it. I doubt they'll do it.
