How do I reset my Nintendo DSI XL back to factory settings?
I have recently purchased a new dsi xl on ebay but does not come with the manuals. How do I reset set it back to factory setting but not wipe out the pre-installed programmes such as the brain training etc?
Answer:
Well you could try putting the stuff you want to keep onto an SD Card, then take that SD Card out [just to be on the safe side].
Then head into [System Settings] > [Other Settings] and somewhere in there should be [Format System Memory].
This is going off a 3DS system, so there might be a bit of variation. But both systems have the same menu interface so it would mst likely be the same procedure.
