Some people will take the wet border and roll it up in the water once it has finished soaking. This can make it simpler to work with as you work around the top of the room.

The application of border is not limited to the top of the room near the ceiling. You can also run wallpaper border around the room's base, right above the baseboards or around metal wall art. This will work to add height to your room by making the top of the room look more open.
