25 Things About Me: Mario
1. I come from a long line of plumbers, all the way back to my great grandmother Mariette.
2. People seem to really love my adventures; I've been featured in over 200 of them, and they've sold over 210 million copies.
3. Everyone thinks Luigi is jealous of all my fame and glory, but they don't know the real reason why Luigi doesn't have so many adventures: laziness.
4. Speaking of Luigi, you might be wondering why we he and I always wear the same clothes. Our mother hated doing the laundry, and it just easier to have reds and greens and not much else.
5. I've even starred in my own Hollywood movie! But… let's not talk about that.
6. My evil cousin Wario has a terrible reputation, but he's not all bad. In fact, he cooks an excellent lasagna!
7. If you've been playing my games for a long time, you might know me by my old name, Jumpman.
8. I had a very hard time with Super Mario Bros. 2. I think my designer may have eaten too many of my mushrooms!
9. I've undergone years of rigorous training to be able to jump as high as I do.
10. Princess Peach is cute and all, but between you and me, I'm really in it for her cooking.
11. Stomping on Koopa shells all day can get tiring, but it's all in the name of Peach's turtle soup.
12. In addition to my princess-saving, turtle-stomping adventures, I've worked overtime in plenty of other venues as well: fighting, tennis, go kart racing, golfing, baseball, and pinball are all on my resume.
13. When I'm not busy with all of these things, I really do find time to make a living as plumber. The real money is in the endorsements, though.
14. Mushrooms are great, but stars are better.
15. You might not think it by looking at him, but Toad is actually a calculus professor by trade.
16. I'm completely incapable of growing facial hair, except on my upper lip. In fact, I'm still waiting to star in that Super Mario: Police Officer game I was promised.
17. Although my favorite food is spaghetti, there's nothing wrong with linguine either.
18. Everyone seems to love watching me run around in 3D, but it was less work to only have to movie left and right.
19. Traveling through all of those green pipes can be a lot of fun, but some of them are awfully smelly.
20. I own over 300 pairs of blue overalls.
