Possibly the biggest console feature they announced was Project Natal. Natal is meant to be the next step in gaming, controller free gaming which will allow you to play your games by moving your body. The magic of the 3D camera will allow you to automatically log into Xbox Live by using facial recognition aswell as being able to start games, chats and videos by using the voice activiation technology. And finally, the ability to scroll through the 360 dashboard with the swipe of your hand. Currently, no release date has been announced for this awesome new console feature.
Later that day came the EA conference where they announced a series of game releases that included:

After EA came Ubisoft with some pretty big and awesome looking game announcements. These included the following:

- Splinter Cell Conviction
- Red Steel 2
- No More Heroes 2: Desperate Struggle
- Avatar: The Game
- Shaun White Snowboarding World Stage
- Academy of Champions
- Casual Games
- Your Shape
- Rabbids Go Home
- TMNT: Turtles in time Re-shelled
That was all the excitement over for the first day of the expo, on the second day game another 2 console developers, Nintendo and Sony.
Nintendo started the day with some Wii and Dsi game and feature announcements. These included the following:
- Metroid Prime: Other M
- Super Mario Galaxy 2
- Wii Fit Pluz
- New Super Mario Bros
- Wii Sports Resort
- The Conduit
- Resident Evil: The Darkside Chronicles
- Dead Space Extraction
They also announced the vitality sensor which is a thumb grip, similar to the ones used in hospitals, to measure your pulse rate. They say that this new feature will be incorporated into a series of games that are designed to help you keep fit and relax.
It was a resonably short day for conferences leaving Sony to finish off the day with some more massive game announcements, some new tech for the Playstation 3 and finally, a new console announcement.
You can expect to see the following PS3 releases in the near future:
- Uncharted 2: Among Thieves
- Heavy Rain
- Massive Action Game
- Agent
- Gran Turismo 5
- God of War 3
- The Last Guardian
- Modnation Racing
As for hardware announcements, they announced that they are developing some technology similar to the Wii. The new motion tech by Sony will require 2 controllers, just like the Wii, but instead of a sensor bar, it uses a camera, just like Microsoft's Project Natal. They plan to incorporate this brand new technology into as many games as they possibly can.
Sony finished off their conference with the announcement of the PSP Go, a brand new console. The new PSP is a smaller and lighter version of the PSP with a slide up screen that uncovers the controls. The new PSP Go will contain an internal flash drive which will store all your games, meaning you don't have to carry discs out with you. It also contains build in WiFi, Bluetooth and a slot for a flash drive to gain extra storage space.
That was the end of all the conferences for the major developers and publishers, however, I'm sure all of the above will keep us busy enough until the 2010 E3.
